We live in a society where women relentlessly becomes victim of discriminative brutality. No matter how many grassroots activists raise their voices against this, until every individual takes responsibility at their level to eliminate this violence, nothing major can be done. Organizations take initiatives on a large scale, but charity begins at home. If women in each household can feel safe and secure, can breathe freely, and can pursue their desires without being desecrated, then only the violence can easily be eliminated from the society that we live in. It always takes a little momentum to bring about a huge revolution. Just like #metoo, it all started with one individual but raised the voice of many women who have been violated in some way.

However, although November 25 is celebrated as an international day for the elimination of violence against women, it is not a one-day job. Constant efforts and reminders must be given to society to build up a strong wall against any kind of violence. Girls and women must be provided with support and awareness about their rights and freedom. Every individual must be given an equitable chance to pursue their desires without being judged by their gender. At the end of the day, we are all humans, so we must have equal and fair freedom to live, come what may.
