As Budda once rightly said  "Health is the greatest gift, contentment the greatest wealth, faithfulness the best relationship.”

World Health Day is an annual worldwide health awareness day observed on April 7th by the World Health Organization (WHO) and other relevant organizations. The day is aimed at enhancing global health awareness and supporting healthy living. Each year, World Health Day focuses on a specific theme or topic related to public health. The day aims to raise awareness about a specific health theme chosen by the WHO each year and to encourage people to take action towards improving their health and well-being. The theme for World Health Day 2021 is "Building a fairer, healthier world".

To accomplish the aim of Health for All in the twenty-first century, the cooperation of every human being is required. It also leads to giving every human being access to a proper healthcare service that is easily accessible for any member of society.

Responding To A Global Health Crisis

This day is acknowledged globally by the government, which includes all participating countries as well as several Charities and organizations. This day serves as a reminder of the several important health challenges that people all over the world face. The World Health Organization organizes a number of programs that address major health concerns. WHO is working hard to eradicate diseases such as chickenpox, polio, smallpox, tuberculosis, malaria and leprosy in underdeveloped countries.

How Can You Participate In World Health Day ?

This day must not solely serve as an indicator; we should all dedicate ourselves to it. It should serve as a wake-up call for all of us to give greater consideration to our health and the environment around us. We frequently disregard our health, believing that it will not be a problem. Minor symptoms, on the other hand, can escalate to serious health problems if not handled. We must recognize that health is riches. A healthy body and mind are required for our development and advancement. Everyone should take the motto "Health for all" seriously as a guiding vision for a better future.

A healthy population can help a country grow. An undernourished population cannot offer a lot to a country. Hence, on this World Health Day, we would like to encourage you to pay attention to your own and your family's health. Preserve your health by making time each day to exercise and by following fantastic and healthy diets and dietary behavior. Even if junk food tempts you, always opt for home-cooked meals. Sustain your carbohydrate, protein, and fat consumption. It is critical to consume adequate levels of vitamins and minerals.  A healthy lifestyle begins with choosing healthy food and healthy living habits. Healthy eating and sleeping habits are critical to everyone's well-being. As a result, we must prioritize the health of our children and grandchildren in order to ensure a bright and healthy future for them.
